Dear Miss Jiang
I’m Mahika! In this letter, I’m going to take you through a journey into my life. Hope you enjoy.
I was born in NZ and ever since I was born I have lived in the same house in Blockhouse bay and it still is in good maintenance. I was born in Auckland hospital and was born 3 days early.
I have 6 people in my family including me I live with my grandparents, parents and my little brother.
My closest friends are in this class and have been in the same class as me for 6 YEARS!! I know, these friends are the most amazing friends I have ever had! My classmates are Anoushka, Tanisha and Sanah.
I have an interest in travelling. I also know you do as well. A few of my top countries I want to visit are Italy, Jordan, Dubai and the Maldives. Another one of my interests is photography as my grandma would say “Mahika, Mahika please take a photo?” And once I have taken the photo she asks how did you do it? And then I say “a magician never reveals his or her secret.”
The activities I do are Dance, Swimming, Art and Kumon, maths tuition. The type of dance I do is Freestyle Bollywood and I am in the 2nd highest class. For swimming, I go to the Mt Albert aquatic centre, I am in the last class so if I pass the test I will be done with swimming for the rest of my life! Here’s a fun fact I have been doing swimming since I was 6 months old! In my art class, I am learning to shade with colours. And lastly, I am on the level H on Kumon I am learning square roots.
The thing that no one knows about me is that my birthday is on Neil Armstrongs birthday.
