My book review

Friendship S.O.S

The characters are Ella, Zoe, Nanna Kate and Sunny. I liked Ella the best because of her fashionable outfits and her enthusiasm. These characters show being desperate, doing their best in everything. Her new friend is Sunny who is also very good in fashion and she likes similar things that Ella liked.

PLOT: Nanna Kate wins a trip on a luxury cruise and she invites her friend Rina. Ella is also invited and she invites Zoe, But they eat too much so the next day Zoe ends up in the hospital and she couldn't come out until the trip ends, so Ella has to do everything by herself. One day there was a scavenger hunt and Ella is the captain and in the end, Ella's team wins.


 My opinion; I liked the book Friendship S.O.S because Ella tried to do everything without her best friend Zoe. I was getting bored with her old friend. My favourite part was the scavenger hunt. I liked this part because it was hilarious to see Ella giving lots of different hand signals to indicate if the other team was coming close. The funniest bit was when she bumped into the other team's captain. In this book, I learnt to not give up and keep on trying. 

Recommendation: Firstly I'd recommend the book for 8-10-year-olds as it's easy to read, funny, and heartbreaking. I'd rate this book four out of five . I hope you read this book and enjoy it as much as I did.

Why year 4s should go to camp

After all of those videos I'm starting to get a bit jealous. Some of my year 6 friends went to camp and ever since they have been bragging about it so much!

As you will agree I think year 4's should go to camp because then they can get out of there  comfort zone. They can also learn new things and skills from all of these activities like  boogie boarding, kayaking and many more!At camp you can also learn to be independent and also learn to make your own decisions. You will also learn to work and rely on a group.

In conclusion, I hope that I have given you enough evidence on why year 4's should go to camp.

Mad professor Richard

Mad Professor Richard is really into science and now he’s trying to take over the WORLD! Even though whenever he does an experiment it always ruptures.

Mad  Professor Richard has red hot lava eyes .He also has a very long and jagged orange beard. He has small brown shoes  which he wears every single day. His outfit is a maroon t-shirt topped over with a enlarged white coat.

“Aha! Finally my potion to take over the world  is now been a success“ he hollers. But he hasn’t realised his hair it’s gone up like it’s been struck by lightning or static electricity. Plus look his desk is on FIRE! ‘’Sniff sniff what's that  smell aaaaaaahhhhhhhhh! There’s a fire on my desk!’’

Popcorn

Feel :

Popcorn feels a uneven road. It also feels like a delicate cloud.

See:

It looks like cauliflower which is softened. The popcorn kernels are as hard as the road.

Smell:

Popcorn smells like butter which is roasted. But if it is plain it literally smells like nothing.

Taste:

When you eat popcorn it starts to diffuse in your mouth. Popcorn tastes crunchy as a red juicy apple.

Hear:

When the popcorn pops it sounds like a big balloon popping.  Popcorn pops like miniature explosions.

What story do you like?

I have done a statistical investigation to find out which story Halsey Drive School likes the most. I  predicted that Ella diaries will be the most popular and then Jack and the bean stalk will have the least. But remember that you can only vote once.

We found out that Peter Rabbit had the most and Jack and the Beanstalk had none and same with Little Red Riding Hood and Ella diaries had only one vote  and lastly Anh do weirdo had 10 votes. 

All about Graffes

Giraffes
A giraffe is a magnificent tall creature. But have you see it’s tongue? It’s dark purple,such a weird colour.
Background:
The giraffe is a towering tall mammal. It lives up to 25 years. Also it’s predators are Lions,Leopards and hyenas
Characteristics:
A giraffe's height is 5.5m. The weight of a female is 830 kgs and a males weight is 1,200 kgs! The amazing appearance of a giraffe is that it has a really skinny tail with lots of hair the have little baby hair on their necks. Their patches which are on the leg are small and also really light and the more you go up they get darker. They got eyelashes  which are really protracted. A giraffe can run up to 60 km an hour!
Diet/habitat:
A giraffes diet is acacia,(which is plants) leaves,bushes and bushy trees. It’s habitat is hot Africa in the savannahs.
“Jaw dropping””facts:
Did you know a giraffes  legs are about 6 feet high! They do everything standing up like giving birth and even sleeping! They are the tallest mammal on Earth!
Extinction info:
Sadly the sub-saharan African giraffes is endangered because 40% have sadly died and now there are only about 97,500 giraffes left in the world.  declined from 157,000 to 97,000 over the last 30 years because of poaching and habitat loss.

How to make a bouncy ball

Ingredients :

- Corn flour 1\2 table spoon 
- Borax 1\2 table spoon
- Water 1\2 cup
- Cup
- Bowl
- Spoon
- Food colouring [optional]
- Glue 1\2 table spoon

Instructions:
1. Put 1\2 a table spoon of cornflour,1\2 a table spoon of borax in 1\2 a cup of warm water.
2.Take your bowl and pour 2 table spoons of glue in your bowl then pour two drops of food colouring and stir well.
3.Ask a friend to help pour a little by little of your liquid in your glue and stir well.
4.Take it in your hands and start rolling it in between your palms make sure to roll it into a ball.
5.Dab it with a tissue to make it dry.
6. Lastly bounce it!!!

The first female president
Mahika  was born in 1931 USA. her granddad was a president so he inspired her because he made right decisions for his country. At the age 38 in 1969 she signed up to be a president.

Mahika had prepared her speech because she wanted to be a president .  She strolled to the elderly home and started helping the elderly she even told them that she wanted to be president.  Everyone said ‘’you are soooo helpful you should actually be the president.”  Did you know the old people started voting for Mahika (they already started voting) even other people enjoyed her heroism, but Mahika started to get a bit scared it felt like the butterflies in her tummy were taking over her body.

On the day of the election Mahika was sooooo nervous she was shivering when the person started to call the president names out she heard her name so she walked up on stage proudly.

And from then on Mahika made the right decisions for her country and made it the greatest country in the universe.
